EASTER FUN

We had a big Easter weekend. We started it out Saturday by going to the American West Heritage Center for Baby Animal days. Hayden had a blast. we walked around and looked at different animals and played with some of them, and we were able to watch some of a search and rescue presentation with the search and rescue dogs. Hayden liked the dogs. Then we went a saw the reptiles, we tried to get Hayden to touch turtle but she wanted nothing to do with it. And then we were able to hold a SNAKE. It was pretty cool. Here are some pictures and little tid bit stories, ENJOY.....

Here are some random pictures of our day.

Hayden was more thrilled about touching the animals when we weren't holding her, but we had tried to get her to hold them.

While we were looking at the animals Hayden would reach in and pet every one of them, that she could. With that Goats she would pet one and move down the cage and reach in to pet another one and then she would move her self around to the other side so she could reach every sing one. It was CUTE!

Hayden on a horse tire swing, she didn't like it to much

This is the cool Snake

It felt so weird, i could feel the muscles move on my neck!

she wasn't to thrilled with the Easter Bunny

These are the search and rescue dogs that Hayden liked so much. As the guy was started talking and giving the presentation, Hayden decided that she wanted to play with the dogs. We were sitting in the front row and Hayden couldn't get out of the stroller so she proceeded to YELL "Bubba, Bubba, Bubba" (bubba is the name of our dog.) and she was doing it loud enough for the guy to Pause and look at her trying to figure out what she was saying.

These are some pretty big OX, JT is 5'11 and they are almost as tall as him!

So as you can see we had a pretty good day with the animals, But to finish off he day we went to dinner and a movie. We went to see Monsters vs. Aliens. JT was all for it but I was little skeptical being that Hayden is only 15months old and might not behave too well. JT told me "As long as she has popcorn she'll be fine." And he was right. Hayden sat on Jt's lap with a little bag of popcorn for the first half hour of the movie. Her eyes didn't leave the screen, as she ate popcorn. She then came and curled up on my lap and slept for a little bit. When she woke up she went back to JT an the popcorn, as she watched the last half hour of the movie. She enjoyed the day out and slept through the night when we got home.

  1. I would have been afraid of the Easter Bunny to. Do you see him? He is freaky looking! Looks like tons of fun. I wish we could have gone to the American Heritage Center with you all.
