Halloween Party in Good old Swan Lake

Swan Lake has an annual Halloween Party, which I love going to. Always good company and good food! We had a great time at it tonight.

There is always someone that dresses up and you just have to laugh.

Nathan Gambles in a inflated girl costume

This is most of the costumes, always fun to see the kids dress up!

They always have some games. This year they did minutes to win it games.

They even got my mom in on it. She had to stick her nose in Vaseline and get a cotton ball from one table to the other using just her nose. It was pretty funny to watch.

And Hayden had fun dressing up as a dinosaur again.
And Zander slept the whole time while people took turns holding him.
We all had a great time, especially Hayden. The whole way home she said "I had fun playing with my friends at party, do again tomorrow!"

Two Weeks Old, Already???

Zander is two weeks old! These last two weeks seemed to go by so quick. Its hard to believe that he has been with us two weeks. And next thing I know he will be two years. They really do grow up so fast.
Zander is such a good baby. He is so mellow and doesn't really cry. And he only wakes up once a night, just to eat! Yes, I am very blessed to have such a good baby that sleeps through most the night.
When he was born he weighed 8 lbs and 4 oz. Today he weighed 8lbs and 15.5 oz. So he is a growing boy, I feel like he is a bottomless pit!

ISN'T HE JUST SO HANDSOME!

Cookies and Snakes

The other night Jt had brought home Papa Murphy's pizza and cookie dough, YUM. So after dinner we decided to bake the cookies and let Hayden help ball up the dough and put them on the pan. Well she didn't like the idea of making balls, she decided she had to make snakes out of the cookie dough.

look alike

I was going through pictures today and cam across this picture of Hayden in her first bath. And one of her sleeping. I couldn't help but to put it next to Zander's and see how much they really do look alike....

Yet they look so different too...

They grow too Fast

So can I just say I did not realize how big Hayden was getting until Zander came. She is growing up so fast!

She is such a Proud big sister!

So Far So Good...

To be completely honest I was absolutely terrified of having another baby, let alone a boy.
I have always heard that boys are so different to take care of then girls, and that just scared me. I knew i could handle a girl but a boy I wasn't so sure about. And then not being able to dress boys up in bows and dresses I thought it just wasn't going to be as fun. Well I was completely wrong. A friend of mine told me that you Love your girls but you Fall in Love with your boys. I can definitely see what she meant by that. I really don't know what i was afraid of. Granted having two is a little more difficult then one, and I have yet to be alone the entire day with them but I am more at ease about it now then I was.
Zander is a great baby and Hayden is being a great big sister.

His first bath at home. He was just lovin it most the time.

PUMPKINS!!

Saturday we went to the local pumpkin patch, and picked out pumpkins to carve. Hayden was so excited to get pumpkins. She wanted to pick small ones, but she eventually gave in and picked a couple that we can work with. We're excited to carve pumpkins, one of my favorite times of the year!

He's FINALLY Here!!!!

Hayden is now a Proud Big Sister!
Zander James Ford arrived at 6:34am on October 12, 2012.
He weighed in at 8lbs 4oz, and 21.5 inches long. He is a big boy, he has a 15 inch chest!

He took his sweet time to get here though. I was induced a week after he was due. The labor was about 13 hours long. When they started me around 430pm I was only dilated to a 2. about 2am I was at a 5 and had the epidural. Well the epidural worked too well and I stopped progressing. So they turned the epidural completely off and as it wore off I started progressing and had to suffer through the pain. Honestly it hurt like Hell, but it was worth it. And i ended up only having to push for 15 minutes, and after it was all over I wasn't in too much pain at all. I'm so happy that he is finally here!

Welcome to our family Zander!

Boo at the Zoo

This weekend they had boo at the zoo at Willow park, in Logan, so of course we couldn't pass it up, considering its so close and we still have not had the baby. Anyway Hayden got to dress up in her Halloween costume and go look at animals and get candy. She was so excited to look at the animals with her daddy! She loves doing things with daddy! Jt's mom ended up coming into town for the weekend so we had fun with grandma and papa too. And aunt Jescee came with us for a while too. Hayden loved it!
Hayden in her pink dinosaur costume! So Cute!

The tail is so cool!

Hayden was begging us to get her this stuffed snake. Mom wouldn't get it, But Grandma would! She said she "needed" it.

Jt and Hayden looking at the tortoise.

she didn't want me to take any more pictures.

They had a bunch of little booths for the kids, Hayden had to go to every one!

She got a hole in one on her first try!

They had this little fishing one that you would thrown the bucket over and then pull on the bucket, well Hayden was not enthused when they pulled the bucket. she got scared and ran away, but was sure happy to get the prize.

It was a great day. We all had fun, definitely something that we'll have to do again next year. Hayden made out with some pretty cool stuff too. But I think her favorite part was feeding the ducks. however i didn't get pictures of that.

MY HOUSE

So Hayden loves TV. And when she wants to watch something, she thinks she has to watch it and hates when someone changes it or turns it off. Well my dad comes over to my house almost every night for dinner and he likes watching Hannity. One night he had come over and Hayden had the TV on one of her shows but she really wasn't watching it, so my dad changed it to Hannity. Hayden got upset and i told her she could watch a show in my room, well she says to me "no mommy its my house." Then she ran to my dad and Yells in his face "ITS MY HOUSE GRANDPA, I WATCH TV, ITS MY HOUSE!" lol we couldn't help but laugh.

Families can be Together Forever

This last June, Jt and I had the opportunity to be sealed for Time and all Eternity, along with having Hayden sealed to us. It was such an amazing experience, and there are really know words to describe it. I am so thankful for everything that has brought us to this point in our life. Jt and I met in 2006 and had Hayden January of 2008 and then were married June of 08. Jt was baptized in January of 09. We then took our endowments out June 24, 2010. and then we were sealed as a family on the 26th. I am so very thankful for the Gospel in our life and for the many blessings we receive.
Hayden was so funny in the sealing room. She came in and saw everyone and did not want to leave the temple worker. She cried when she left. The temple workers are amazing!

It was definitely a memorable day. Here are just a few pictures.

Yay for internet

For the past two years I have not had internet or a computer. How did I ever survive. When I started this blog I was able to use the computer at work but I didn't work there very long so it has been a long time since I wrote on my blog. BUT now I have both a computer and internet, so I can start blogging again, which is kind of like journal writing for me.

So it has been a long time since I posted and a lot has happened since then. My little girl is now 2.5 and is such a sweet heart (most of the time) and we are expecting a little boy any day now! This last summer has been kind of low key. We went to Oregon for a weekend to spend some time with Jt's sister and the rest of his family, and we went to the movies a couple times and we went to the zoo, and bowling. Really not a lot has been going on since Jt is in school and working full time (he is amazing). We are hoping that he will be done with school by January. Any way I will post more later, especially after the baby comes!
